Singapore Design Festival 2007

Synopsis:

As design takes centre stage in the city with this year's Singapore Design Festival, the School of Technology for the Arts at Republic Polytechnic will be conducting a look into what is going on BACKSTAGE. The School of  Technology for the Arts, will be hosting a workshop and forum where local artists and designers will take time-out to brainstorm and discuss the future of design education. These professionals will put simply, come back to school to create visions of what will go on in the school of the future. 

Held at the interactive studio and theatre studio in the new campus at Republic Polytechnic, BACKSTAGE will take the form of a workshop and forum on Tuesday, 4th December 2007. The free forum starting at 4pm will be open to the industry, to join our students and participate in a lively discussion on the subject of what's next in design education.
